What the Visit Involves
It is about an hour, and it is practical rather than a sales call.
We measure the space properly, including setbacks and any constraints from fences, pools, mature trees, and utility runs. We check which way the ground falls, because drainage determines where the court can go more often than people expect. And we look at the soil, because in North Texas that drives the slab specification.
Then we talk through the options honestly. If your yard takes a full pickleball court construction build, we will say so. If it realistically takes a half-court basketball layout or a compact multi-sport pad instead, we will say that too, and explain why. We have talked plenty of people out of the bigger court because the smaller one was the right answer for their property.
You get a written flat-rate quote afterwards, all-inclusive, covering everything from excavation to final walkthrough.
The 3D Design Is the Part People Remember
A drawing on paper does not tell you much. A 3D model of your court, on your actual lot, at real dimensions, tells you everything.
You see how close the fence line comes to the patio. You see the surface and line colours you picked, rendered rather than imagined. You see whether the court dominates the yard or sits comfortably in it. And if any of that is not right, we change it before anything is committed, which costs nothing at that stage and is impossible afterwards.
It also does a job we did not anticipate when we started offering it: it gets HOA submissions approved. Architectural committees consistently ask for exactly what the 3D design contains, and packets that arrive with a rendering attached go through far more smoothly than packets that do not.
What you take away
An accurate measurement of your space, a 3D model of your court on your lot, an honest recommendation about what fits, and a flat-rate all-inclusive quote. All free, whether or not you build.
Why Fall, and Why Book Now
Two reasons, and both are practical.
Concrete cures better in fall. Mild days and cool nights let a slab reach its specified strength without the evaporation problems that come with pouring in 105-degree heat, and acrylic surfacing has a much wider comfortable application window.
And the calendar is open. Enquiries surge every February and March when the first warm weekend arrives, and by April every reputable builder in the metroplex has a backlog. Booking in fall means choosing your build slot rather than taking what is left.
If your property is inside an HOA, add three to six weeks for architectural review before construction can start. We handle that submission free, but the calendar is the calendar. A September consultation typically means a November build and a court that is cured, settled, and ready the first decent weekend in March.
